Lady Une has two personalities, because of her deep love towards Trieze. As a soldier of OZ, she is ruthless and cunning. Her only goal is to achieve victory and to fulfill Treize's ideals. However, many of the actions that she takes for Treize, is indeed not desired by Treize at all. The second personality is a sweet, kind, and gentle Lady Une. As her second personality eventually takes over, she fights along side the Gundam pilot, since by now she's realized Treize's true ideals.
As she awakes from her coma, she expresses her love for Treize by stealing the Wing Gundam from an engineering post in Luxembourg and saves his life from Zechs, after Zechs had fired the Libra cannon at Treize. Here, Une declares her devotion to Treize and offers to fight by his side during the final hour.
